Rayville clearly showed why they are one of the best teams in the state regardless of class after beating North Caddo 79-51 to win the 2A state championship. The unselfish play from the Hornets has been one of the reasons why this team has been so tough to beat all season. Mylik Wilson finished the game with 25 points & MVP honors in front of a bevy of college coaches like Patrick Ewing & Will Wade. Rashad Naylor chipped in 15 points for Rayville & did a excellent job controlling the tempo of the game along with his stifling defense. Chris Thomas led North Caddo with 25 points.
